Reporting a Bug

Found something that does not work as it should? A good bug report helps the developers find and fix it fast.

Before you report

• Update to the latest Bforartists version and check that the problem is still there.
• Try with File › Defaults › Load Factory Settings to rule out your own settings and add-ons.
• Search the existing issues to see if it was already reported.

Write the report

Open a new issue in the Bforartists repository on GitHub (https://github.com/Bforartists/Bforartists/issues) and include:

1. What you did: the steps to make the problem happen, one by one.
2. What happened and what you expected instead.
3. Your system: operating system, graphics card and driver, and the Bforartists version (Help › About, or the Status Bar).
4. A small .blend file that shows the problem, and screenshots or a short video.

Keep one problem per report. If Bforartists crashed, attach the crash log too.
